WAAREE is continuing its influence in India with a turnkey 5.75MW thin-film solar PV plant in Latur, Maharashtra. The company will be responsible for manufacturing the modules, design, engineering, procurement, construction, operation and maintenance for Shree Saibaba sugar factory.
Adinath Sangwe, technical director of Shree Saibaba sugar factory said, “We are very happy to award this order to WAAREE Energies. The experience of WAAREE Energies with regard to in-time execution of MW solar PV projects has given us immense confidence in them. This power plant will be one of its kind in Maharashtra, and will provide the much needed momentum for grid-based solar power in Maharashtra.”

Earlier this month, Waaree launched a financial support scheme for companies investing in PV in India in association with the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM).
