German company Wattner has acquired two newly built solar power plants with a total capacity of 15.4 megawatts.
The company said it is incorporating the plants into its solar fund, Wattner SunAsset.
PV-Tech understands the total investment volume is approximately €26 million (US$34 million).
Both plants were commissioned before September 2012. One greenfield installation with a power of 7.3MW is located in Loewenberger Land, Brandenburg. The larger power plant with a capacity of 8.1 MW has been built on a greenfield near Horka, Saxony.
