German investment firm Wattner has acquired five utility-scale solar power plants with a combined capacity of 22MW in various locations in Germany.
The total cost is estimated to be approximately €37 million.
The construction of all five plants broke ground in 2012 simultaneously on different sites throughout Germany.
Located in Bennungen, Saxony-Anhalt, the 6MW solar facility constitutes what it is said the biggest plant among five.
Three of the solar power plants with a total capacity of 12.8 MW are installed in Western Pomerania.
The fifth 3.3 MW plant became operational and it is built in Neuenhagen near Berlin.
The names of the sellers all the five solar plants remain unknown.
