Inline measurement systems start-up, ACT Aurora Control Technologies said it had entered into a new evaluation agreement for its Decima tool.
The company will be working with an unidentified solar cell equipment supplier on the Decima’s measurement and control capabilities of various emitter formation processes.

The equipment supplier was said to be a leading provider of coating and thermal processing equipment.
Gordon Deans, Aurora’s President & CEO said, “Partnerships with production equipment suppliers are important channels to market for our products, and this agreement demonstrates our continuing successful positioning of the company’s Decima product with major industry players.”
Following successful tests, which were already underway, commercial terms for market distribution are expected to be established, according to the company.
