Global investor, Allianz Capital Partners’ Renewable Energy Fund has acquired two ground mount solar parks in Germany.
The Green Tower II and III solar parks reside on a former military airbase in Jocksdorf, Brandenburg and will generate enough power for 12,000 households.

The solar parks reuses the land and will benefit from Germany’s feed-in tariff scheme.
The joint capacity of the parks is 55MW, and adds to Allianz’s solar portfolio in the UK, Italy and France.
