EPC firm, Swinerton Renewable Energy has selected Array Technologies ‘DuraTrack’ HZ single-axis tracker system for a 40MW of Duke Energy Renewables owned PV power plants being built in Bakersfield, California.
The Pumpjack and Wildwood PV solar projects (20MW each) will deploy a version of the single-axis tracker with a 120° range of motion, compared to Array Technologies standard 90° system, expected to provide higher overall yields.
