Conergy builds 4.5 MW solar park for French utility UEM

UEM, the grid operator and power utility company of the French city of Metz, has commissioned a 4.5MW solar park in La Fare-les-Oliviers, a village near Aix-en-Provence in the south of the country built by Conergy.

Conergy said that construction of the park was completed in May and employs 18,000 of its ‘P Series’ modules that are expected to generate 6,500 megawatt hours annually and supply more than 1,800 homes in the area.

The company also completed two carports at the local town hall with a total capacity of 100 kilowatt in collaboration with Sunalp, which acted as the main contractor on the project.
