Although another Taiwanese PV Manufacturer, E-Ton Solar produced the solar panels use on London’s City Hall building a few years ago, DelSolar has become the first PV module manufacturer from Taiwan to gain Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) approval. The MCS certification, which was issued by TÜV SÜD Taiwan, demonstrates that DelSolar’s solar modules have met the quality and safety standards required for installations in the U.K.
The certification involves type testing of products and an assessment of the manufacturing processes, materials, procedures and staff training.
