EnterSolar has finished a 228kW solar PV system for Ontel Productions New Jersey headquarters. The rooftop system was officially placed into service in December 2011 and takes advantage of several renewable energy incentives, including the Section 48 Investment Tax Credit, the PSE&G Solar Loan Program and the Bonus Depreciation benefits for solar projects.

The PV system uses 950 individual solar panels and will generate over 270,000kWh of electricity every year. Over the next 25 years, the solar project will produce 6.4 million kWh of energy. “Our new solar energy system will generate essentially all of our Headquarter facility’s annual electricity needs,” said Mike Wade, CFO of Ontel, “and in addition to the significant environmental benefits, the long-term economic returns are quite attractive.”
