French firms complete 2.5MW plant in Romania

Module manufacturer Voltec Solar and project developer Ecosun Expert have finished work on a 2.5MW solar farm in Romania.

The ground-mounted installation in Brasov was completed by Ecosun Expert and its Romanian subsidiary and connected to the grid at the end of August.

“This is another great success in the activities our companies are undertaking together,” according to a statement by Frédéric Rohmer, managing director of Ecosun Expert, and Markus Schaefer, co-founder and VP sales of Voltec Solar.

A second ground-mounted project is also underway in Romania as well as roof-mounted systems and a venture to enter the residential PV market in the country.
