Gintech’s sales reach record spike in March

Taiwan-based solar cell and module manufacturer Gintech Energy reported a significant jump in revenue for the month of March 2014.

The company posted revenue of NT$1,674 million (US$55.4 million approx), a new record month and a month-on-month increase of 33.8%. Year-on-year revenue increased 52.5%.

Gintech Energy did not say why there was a spike in revenue and has yet to report first quarter 2014 financial results. Taking monthly revenue figures, the company generated first quarter revenue of around US$142.1 million.
