India’s SECI tendering 100MW of PV in Chhattisgarh

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued a request for selection (RfS) for 100MW of solar PV projects in the state of Chhattisgarh.

The tender comes as part of the National Solar Mission Phase II, Batch III.

This week SECI has already awarded 75MW capacity in Uttar Pradesh to French developer SolaireDirect and 50MW to RattanIndia is separate auctions. Both auctions suggested that competitive appetite remains in the Indian auction process.

Yesterday India received its lowest ever bid for its Domestic Content Requirement category in Rajasthan and Jharkhand awarded 1.2GW of solar capacity.
