JinkoSolar has announced the arrival in Pakistan of the first batch of its 10MW N-type Tiger Neo 78 BDV modules. The recipient and EPC partner is S.M. Jaffer, a leading power generation EPC company in Pakistan since 1949, and the modules will be installed at three separate C&I rooftop projects at local textile factories Ahmed Fine Textile Mills, Fazal Cloth Mills and Reliance Weaving Mills.

JinkoSolar has become the Pakistani market’s preferred module supplier and shares with Jaffer the same commitment to corporate social responsibility and focus on environmental performance.

Ehtesham ul Haq, GM for Procurement at Fazal Cloth Mills, commented: “We have already installed MW’s of solar in our group and, while working to enhance our capacity, we looked into different new technologies and became aware of N-type technology, which is higher in efficiency and lower in degradation. It can also generate power output of over 600W to maximize power generation at our factory. We selected JinkoSolar because of its reputation and strong R&D in N-type technology.”

Anita Li, Jinko General Manager for the APAC region, added: “We are delighted to cooperate with Ahmed Fine Textile Mills, in collaboration with S.M.Jaffer, and this will be the first project to implement N-type Tiger Neo modules in Pakistan. Energy consumption has become a major topic for the country and JinkoSolar will continue to provide leading technology to support its clean energy transition.”
