Astronergy has announced the addition of a new 66 rectangular cell product line for its ASTRO N7 TOPCon series, now ready to go into mass production.
Based on the company’s independently developed TOPCon 3.0 and advanced SMBB cell processing technology, the new cells are capable of reaching an efficiency of over 25.7%.
For deployment in utility-scale solar systems the ASTRO N7 66-cell product offers lower BOS costs compared to 182mm square wafer modules, and its low voltage characteristics can deliver benefits in terms of system design.
