TÜV Rheinland has awarded one of its first MCS certificates for Astronergy products during the recently concluded Intersolar Europe event in Munich.
The MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) is a UK-based small-scale renewable energy and heating standard, requiring installers and product manufacturers to comply with its conditions and provide test reports based on the IEC/EN61215 standard, as well as audits of factory production control mechanisms.
Astronergy EVP and CSO Haiyan Huang commented that the certification underlines the company’s leading technology and will enable it to achieve further expansion in the European market.
