DAS Solar’s Zhangzhou base has become the company’s first zero carbon factory, receiving certification from TÜV SÜD.
Achieving zero carbon factory standards requires companies to use energy-saving, emission-reducing and renewable energy substitution technologies to maximize emission reduction. This aims to achieve an intensive, efficient, green and low-carbon development model, optimizing industrial and energy structures.
The Zhangzhou base scored highly in areas including infrastructure, energy smart information management systems, energy resource input, products, greenhouse gas reduction measures and carbon offsets, exceeding requirements for national, industry and local energy consumption limits regarding total energy consumption and performance intensity.
DAS Solar has already obtained French Carbon Footprint ECS and EPD certification, achieving low-carbon sustainable development through green production, management, logistics, packaging and recycling. As of 2023, the company had reduced standard coal consumption by an annual 12.34 MT and CO2 emissions by 35.96 MT.
