GoodWe announces inauguration of first overseas manufacturing base

GoodWe has announced the official commencement of operations at its first overseas manufacturing plant in Haiphong, Vietnam, representing a significant milestone in the company’s global expansion strategy.

The inauguration ceremony for the opening of ‘GoodWe Vietnam Technology’ was attended by GoodWe CEO Daniel Huang, accompanied by senior executives of the company and representatives of the local Deep C Industrial Development Zone and BW Industrial Development.  

Covering approximately 14,800 square meters, the factory will specialize in the production of grid-tied and hybrid inverters, initially catering to the markets of North America and key Asian regions.

GM of the new Vietnamese company, Xianfeng LI, commented: “Customers from diverse markets are eagerly anticipating the output of our Vietnam factory and we remain committed to listening to market needs, delivering high-quality products and providing excellent service to our customers.”

CEO Huang added: “We are establishing an overseas benchmark factory, showcasing operational excellence and replicating success across our global markets in the future. The positive impact of this milestone is also on our innovation capabilities and job creation in the local Vietnamese market. With the opening of this factory, we look forward to creating further opportunities across key markets such as the United States, in ASEAN countries and beyond.”
