GoodWe has announced its participation at Intersolar South America 2024, which will take place between August 27-29 in São Paulo, Brazil, where it will present its latest innovations and reinforce its commitment to the Brazilian and South American markets.

“Brazil has immense solar potential, and we are committed to providing advanced technologies that meet the country’s clean energy needs. Beyond Brazil, our goal is to strengthen our network of partners and distributors in South America, ensuring that our solar energy solutions are widely available to help accelerate the region’s energy transition,”” commented Fábio Mendes,  VP for South America.

Among highlights at the event will be the company’s line of innovative products, including high-efficiency inverters and batteries, EV chargers and BIPV solutions that seamlessly integrate solar energy generation into building structures, promoting sustainability and energy efficiency.

Among new products on display:

ET 40-50K Series

40 – 50 kW | Three-Phase Hybrid | 4 MPPTs

The evolution of GoodWe’s traditional ET series now comes with power ratings of 40 kW and 50 kW and an external UPS-level transfer switch [switching between on-grid and backup modes in less than 10ms]. The new transfer switch [STS] opens up new applications for hybrid inverters, supporting the connection of diesel generators and backup circuits in parallel with up to 4 units, allowing systems with backup for priority loads up to 200kW and microgrid applications in conjunction with generators. Additionally, the series integrates advanced protection solutions against water [IP66], surges [DPS], electric arcs [AFCI 3.0], and reverse battery connection polarity.

EO Series

3.5 – 6 kW | Single-Phase Off-Grid | 1 MPPT

The newest EO series brings GoodWe’s first 100% off-grid inverter to the market. The equipment, aimed at off-grid applications, is being launched in 3.5 kW 127 Vac and 6 kW 220 Vac versions, equipped with integrated MPPT and support for module current input up to 30A. The off-grid inverter also features intelligent cooling and broad compatibility with both lithium and lead-acid batteries, ensuring application flexibility in a range of scenarios across Brazil and South America.

HCA Series G2

7 kW Single-Phase | 11 – 22 kW Three-Phase

The second generation of GoodWe’s vehicle chargers integrates new technologies for control and optimization of charging. The HCA G2 series, with power ratings of 7 kW single-phase and 11 kW and 22 kW three-phase, integrates Radio Frequency Identification [RFID] for access control to the charging station via card and an RS-485 port for communication with GoodWe inverters. The new functions allow users to prioritize and guarantee vehicle charging solely with PV energy, avoiding grid use.

MIS Series

1.6 – 2 kW | Single-Phase | Microinverter

GoodWe’s MIS series microinverter is ideal for small-scale residential and commercial environments. Each microinverter has 4 individual MPPTs, allowing the tracking and optimization of each PV module. Equipped with integrated WiFi and Bluetooth, it facilitates configuration and maintenance and allows intercommunication between microinverters via WiFi without the need for a datalogger, extending communication distance without additional costs. It offers real-time performance monitoring of each panel, helping to identify issues or inefficiencies. The GoodWe MIS maximizes energy production, reduces losses, and increases system safety.

XS G3 Series

3.3 kW | Single-Phase On-Grid | 1 MPPT

GoodWe’s XS G3 series inverters are designed for convenience and efficiency. Weighing only 4.6 kg and the size of an A4 sheet, they are easy to install and handle. They offer a DC overload capacity of 200% [6.6 kWp] and a maximum efficiency of 97.6%, ensuring high performance and energy generation for homes. Additionally, they feature integrated advanced arc fault protection [AFCI 3.0], IP66 protection class, and silent operation through natural convection with noise levels below 20 dB. They support various communication options for integration into smart residential solar systems.

GT Series

100 – 125 kW | Three-Phase On-Grid | 8 – 10 MPPTs

GoodWe also brings to the event the new GT series of inverters for commercial and industrial applications. With multiple MPPTs and supporting modules with current up to 21A, it ensures high efficiency and conversion even in adverse conditions. The inverters are equipped with factory-installed surge protection (DPS Type II) and integrated AFCI 3.0 fire and arc fault protection. The GT series follows the brand’s new design trend, with modern lines and neutral colors in harmony with commercial and industrial applications.

Rapid Shutdown

RSD 2.0

For the first time in Brazil, GoodWe presents its rapid shutdown solution. The solution consists of PLC signal transmitter devices and receiver devices installed on each PV module. They operate independently of the inverter, ensuring compatibility with string inverters of any power, including other brands, and act automatically in case of system failure or accident, ensuring extra-low voltage in the DC circuits.

UT Series

320/350 kW | Three-Phase On-Grid | 12/15 MPPTs

The new UT 1500V series of three-phase string inverters from GoodWe enhances the profitability of PV plants. It offers options with 12 or 15 MPPTs, supports DC currents of 15A or 20A per input, and is compatible with 182mm and 210mm bifacial modules. It includes Anti PID and PID recovery functions to mitigate Potential Induced Degradation (PID) in PV modules. Designed to operate in challenging environments, it supports extreme temperatures from -35°C to +60°C and high humidity. The UT 1500V inverter guarantees greater reliability, performance, and cost-effectiveness with optimized LCOE, being a cutting-edge solution for large-scale and centralized PV projects.
