In today’s solar energy landscape, power plant developers find themselves grappling with the dual challenge of managing high costs while navigating obstacles such as permits, grid connections and the supply chain. At a virtual conference Huasun’s Director of European Business Development Christian Comes has shared insights into the advantages of the company’s high-efficiency heterojunction technology in large-scale projects.

Comes stated that more efficient and reliable modules can significantly cut costs, with the adoption of a long-term perspective crucial, focusing on overall module performance throughout an entire lifecycle. These factors are pivotal in applying module products to large-scale projects and play a vital role in overcoming barriers to their development.

As a future mainstream product, heterojunction modules offer excellent energy yield capabilities, of particular importance in large-scale plant applications. More electricity generation translates to fewer modules required, effectively managing the costs associated with land, transportation and installation. By leveraging the inherent advantages of heterojunction technology and continually refining module manufacturing processes,  Huasun modules achieve bifacial yields as high as 85%, offering greater gains in electricity generation compared to alternatives.
