Huasun has taken part in the 2025 edition of ‘K. EY’- the energy transition event in the Italian city of Rimini, showcasing its cutting-edge heterojunction (HJT) technology and innovative module designs.
Italy has a target of 79GW of solar installed by 2030, the challenge lying in maximizing energy generation amid land constraints and diverse energy needs.
Among products attracting most attention at the Rimini event was the G12R-88 agrivoltaic HJT module, designed specifically for agricultural applications. Unlike traditional agrivoltaic modules, it offers higher bifaciality and more uniform light transmission, supporting crop growth while generating clean energy. For Italy’s agricultural sector, which is both a cultural cornerstone and an economic driver, this dual-benefit approach represents a major step forward in more sustainable and efficient farming.
The company’s G12R series HJT modules also attracted the interest of visitors to its booth. With rectangular wafer and zero-busbar (0BB) cell design, the modules boost power output while significantly reducing balance-of-system (BOS) costs, including mounting structures and cabling.
