Huasun Energy has announced that it has been successful in the Huaneng Group’s recent module procurement tender for 2024, being awarded Section 3 of the project, which involves 500MW of heterojunction modules.
The contract marks the first time that HJT products have been included in centralized procurement by one of China’s state-owned companies in 2024. Building on Huasun’s previous success in securing a contract for HJT modules as part of a 900MW procurement by the State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC), it consolidates the company’s leading position in the market.
