JA Solar has announced a strategic cooperation with leading European EPC Solarpro for the supply of its high-efficiency TOPCon DeepBlue 4.0 Pro modules for a large-scale 240MW solar power plant in Bulgaria’s Yambol district. The project, financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), marks a significant milestone in the advance of sustainable energy development in the country and will be one of the region’s largest solar plants.

Installation of the modules is scheduled to begin in Q3 2024, with the project expected to reach grid connection and become operational by the end of Q2 2025, significantly boosting Bulgaria’s renewable energy capacity and supporting its energy transition goals.
