Jinkosolar at SNEC 2021: New product introduction round-up

Despite COVID-19, SNEC 2021 received record high visitor numbers and continues to be one of the key international solar trade shows on the event calendar. As a result, new products launched at the event reflect trends and developments across multiple markets.

First 415W panel dedicated for residential market

Over the three days of the exhibition, Jinkosolar unveiled several new stand-out products. The Tiger Pro 415W is Jinkosolar’s first 400+ watt solar panel designed for the residential market. In order to provide further insight into the module, the company will be producing an in-depth new product review after the exhibition to detail its unique features.

Anticipating the next wave of TOPCon

At the utility-scale level, Jinkosolar showcased its N type TOPCon solar panel, based on a 182mm cell and capable of achieving power output of up to 625W peak (Wp), with an efficiency of 22.86%, a new world record in the class of its size. The company’s PERC capacity could reach 37GW by the end of 2021, depending to some degree on TOPCon, which represents an upgrade of existing capacity to the next efficiency level of up to 24.5%.

Two options available for bifacial

Jinkosolar’s Swan high efficiency, half-cut, monocrystalline bifacial module showcased at SNEC has a 555W power rating and a 30-year lifespan -and is available in transparent backsheet or dual glass bifacial options.
