JinkoSolar has announced it is to deliver a 15MWh SunGiga C&I energy storage system combined with 5.7MW of its N-type panels to Japanese client Grand Works Inc.

The SunGiga is based on LFP battery technology and features a unique liquid cooling system, the product combining the advantages of long service life, a high degree of integration and enhanced safety.

The system has a nominal capacity range of 250-2000kWh and supports 2 to 4 hours of application. SunGiga is a complete system unit including long-life LFP cell, PCS, BMS, EMS and multiple fire suppression systems and can quickly be transported to a project site, significantly reducing installation costs and commissioning time.

C&I projects combining JinkoSolar N-type PV and ESS offer great potential for improving energy self-sufficiency, reducing electricity costs and ensuring a stable power supply.
