LONGi has signed a distribution agreement with Abunayyan Trading Corporation (ATC), a trusted name in providing water and energy solutions for residential and business customers throughout Saudi Arabia and the Arabian Gulf.

The companies held a signing ceremony at the ATC headquarters in Riyadh on the 6th of June, LONGi representatives including Chao Jia and Baggio Teng, president and head of the new business project team for the MEA and Central Asia region respectively, accompanied by Claire Zheng, country manager for Saudi Arabia.

Expressing his delight at the ceremony, Chao Jia commented: “We greatly respect ATC’s depth of knowledge of Saudi Arabia’s operational and environmental conditions and consider them a strategic partner in the Kingdom. We are confident that the company will portray LONGi’s image in the best way possible. It is clear that, with LONGi’s commitment to customer value and ATC’s strong local connections, we can together scale new heights in the region.”

LONGi recently won a contract to supply 406MW of its Hi-MO 5 bifacial modules to SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction for Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea project. Located on the Kingdom’s west coast, it will be exclusively powered by renewable energy on a scale never before achieved anywhere in the world. Energy will be generated via solar panels and wind turbines to meet an initial demand of 210MW, with significant further expansion planned.

LONGi continues to grow its presence in Saudi Arabia, with the signing of the agreement with ATC another significant step in strengthening its position in the Kingdom.
