LONGi´s Hi-MO 4m all black PV module obtains Class 1 fire certification for the Italian market

LONGi, the world leading solar technology company, has announced that its Hi-MO 4m all black PV module has obtained the highest (Class 1) fire safety certification for the Italian market, having successfully completed all relevant testing.

Criteria for reliability and fire safety certification for PV modules are especially stringent in Italy, with independent classification into a fire safety class by the authorised testing laboratory binding and officially registered with the Italian interior ministry. 

LONGi´s all black module is part of its Hi-MO 4m series and is ideal for distributed PV projects, offering excellent energy yield, maximizing installation capacity with limited roof area and delivering significant BOS cost savings. The all black, 60 cell format module also provides attractive aesthetics for residential projects.

The Hi-MO 4m series comes with integrated advanced technologies such as M6 (166mm) Gallium-doped monocrystalline wafers, 9BB high efficiency PERC cells and half-cut technology, with a maximum efficiency exceeding 21%. Size and weight are designed to match the requirements of global distributed generation system installations and application scenarios.
