Trinasolar’s Vertex N 700W+ series modules have shown much lower LCOE and CAPEX compared with 182N reference modules, according to an assessment conducted by UL Solutions in Brazil and Germany.
Shaily Milany, UL solar advisory lead, commented: “We have carried out previous LCOE assessments for Trinasolar in Australia and UAE with consistent results.”
According to the latest assessment, compared with reference modules, the LCOE and Capex of the Vertex N 700W+ series modules are 2.2% and 1.9% lower respectively in Germany and 1.8% and 1.6% lower in Brazil. The results also show that energy yield is higher than that of reference modules, underlining the global competitiveness of the Vertex series.
“These results are consistent with what we have seen in every single region and we are confident our Vertex N 700W+ series modules will increasingly be put into service worldwide,” commented Matheus Rodrigues, Trina’s head of product solutions and marketing for LATAM.
