Sineng Electric has announced that its cumulative shipments of PV inverters to India have now exceeded 10GW and, to celebrate this achievement, the company hosted a gala dinner in New Delhi.
Recognizing the potential of India’s rapidly growing solar market, the company established a 3GW manufacturing base in Bangalore in 2018, the annual production capacity of which was expanded to 10GW in 2021, underlining Sineng’s commitment to the “Made in India” initiative.
At the core of Sineng’s success story in the subcontinent is the combination of a unique value-based marketing approach and continual technical innovations. During the celebratory event, Bharat Kumar Meghwal, product application head for Sineng Electric India, introduced a series of new-generation products tailored for utility-scale applications, including the SP-350K-INH string inverter featuring maximum power output of 352kW, MPPT current of 45A and compatibility with all types of PV module.
Company chairman Qiang Wu commented: “We take great pride in what we have accomplished in India. Over the last six years, we have navigated challenges, embraced opportunities and ignited growth. At Sineng, our success is intricately interwoven with that of our partners. Contributing to the task of driving the energy transition remains a pivotal aspect of our mission. We look forward to ongoing collaboration with industry-leading EPCs, developers and stakeholders in the solar energy sector, accelerating India’s journey towards sustainability.”
