The Saraorci project, developed by PowerChina with high-efficiency modules supplied by Tongwei, has a total installed capacity of 13.86MW and is the first project in Serbia to be built by a Chinese company, the plant scheduled for grid connection at the end of May.
Once commissioned, it will supply an annual 16 millionkWh of clean electricity to the local area, effectively saving 5,100 tons of standard coal and eliminating 16,000 tons of CO2 emissions, 2.7 tons of sulphur dioxide emissions and 3.2 tons of nitrogen oxide emissions.
Tongwei was able to showcase its advanced production capabilities and efficiency by the speed of delivery of modules to Serbia from the initial establishment of the partnership. The quality of modules was guaranteed via the company’s rigorous standards and six key quality assurance measures implemented in the screening of raw material, the management of the production process, testing and certification across environments, strict control of the quality system process and shipment quality inspections.
