Trina Solar has announced the completion of installation of 30MW of its Vertex N 700W modules for an integrated PV-energy storage project in the desert region of northwest China. Once connected to the grid, the plant is expected to generate 1.45 billion kWh of electricity, saving 442,000 tons of standard coal as well as eliminating 1.206 million tons of CO2, 232 tons of sulphur dioxide and 260 tons of nitrogen oxide.
Vertex N 700W modules are widely recognized for reliability and performance in challenging conditions, benefiting from low-voltage, high-power, ultra-low degradation and high bifaciality to deliver higher string power, greater installed system capacity, higher energy yield and lower LCOE for utility projects.
Head of branding and marketing YunDuan Cao commented: “Trina Solar is committed to applying its n-type i-TOPCon technology and 700W+ modules to benefit end users.”
