A solar-storage power station in a desert region of northwestern China, deploying 1.3GW of Trinasolar Vertex N modules, has been connected to the grid. The plant is forecast to generate an annual 2.1 billion kWh of clean electricity, saving 620,000 tons of standard coal and eliminating 1.61 million tons of CO2 emissions.

Cao Yunduan, Trina’s head of global branding and marketing, commented: “The widespread use of our high-quality products serves as powerful proof of both their reliability and value. We will continue to explore diversified PV+ application scenarios to further unlock the potential of solar energy in more innovative ways.”
