TrinaTracker has been ranked sixth for global shipments in 2023 and third in ‘key countries and regions’ in a report published by S&P Global, its global market share reaching 6%, double that of the previous year, and its business growth ranking second worldwide, making it one of the sector’s  fastest-growing companies.

The report indicates the company’s shipments ranked third in South America, with a volume of  1.5GW positioning it as the region’s largest Chinese tracker company. The 520MW Santa Luzia Complex, one of the largest solar projects in Brazil, was officially put into operation at the beginning of the year, with the country’s 210MW Mauriti project also operational. Meanwhile, the CEMIG SIM PV power station deploys Trina Solar’s integrated delivery solution of Vertex modules and Vanguard trackers, launching a new business model in South America. Outside Brazil, TrinaTracker is firmly established, with significant shipments to Argentina, Chile and Colombia.

The Middle East market has also expanded significantly and that trend is expected to continue between now and 2030. TrinaTracker is one of the major suppliers in the region, exclusively supplying trackers for Qatar’s 875MW industrial city solar power project, one of the most significant in the region, and holding additional orders of 2GW.

As of the end of 2023, TrinaTracker had delivered smart tracker solutions to more than 700 solar plants in over 60 countries, with cumulative shipments exceeding 20GW.
