Long-standing and third ranked LDK Solar executive, Dr. Liangbao Zhu has resigned from the company with immediate effect.
The struggling PV manufacturer said in a short statement that the executive had resigned for personal reasons and that the move would not disrupt the composition of its Audit, Compensation or Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees.

Dr. Zhu joined LDK Solar in November, 2005 and served as Executive Vice President and a director of LDK Solar's Board.
