China ROUND-UP: LONGi Solar, JinkoSolar and Jinergy highlight PV module deals

Jinergy gets bifacial HJ modules approved for UAE projects

Jinneng Clean Energy Technology (Jinergy) said that its Heterojunction (HJ) solar modules manufactured by its subsidiary, Jinneng Photovoltaic Technology had been listed in Equipment meeting eligibility requirements for DEWA Distributed Renewable Resources Generation Programme and get access to the United Arab Emirates market.

Dr. Liyou Yang, general manager of Jinergy revealed, “Jinergy already exports high-quality modules to India, Pakistan, Mexico, Argentina, Australia, Japan, Ukraine and other countries and regions. It's estimated that in 2018 Jinergy's overseas shipments will account for 30% of total shipments and the number is expected to be 50% in 2019.”

Jinergy’s listed DEWA products include its JNHM60 (275W to 310W) and JNHM72 (330W to 370W) solar modules featuring leading temperature coefficient of -0.27%/°C. Due to bifacial design, power generation of Jinergy's HJT modules can be increased by 10% to 30% in different albedo ground conditions, according to the company.

LONGi teams with BayWa r.e. on global distribution deal 

Renewables firm, BayWa r.e. has entered into a supply deal agreement with ‘Silicon Module Super League’ (SMSL) member, LONGi Solar to expand its product portfolio with all modules from the LONGi product range and to distribute them worldwide.

“Thanks to the broad network of BayWa r.e. we will certainly increase our market share in the global PV market and improve our products even further”, noted Gerald Patrick Müller, Vice President Sales Europe at LONGi Solar Technology. “Our reliable modules ensure not only superior quality, but also help to strengthen green energy transitions worldwide. We are looking forward to a mutually beneficial cooperation.”

JinkoSolar supplies 132MW of modules to Swinerton for Nevada project

Leading SMSL, JinkoSolar said it had supplied 132MWdc of PV modules to Swinerton Renewable Energy for the construction of the Techren Solar 1 Project in Boulder City, Nevada.

SRE is providing the engineering, procurement, and construction services to Clēnera, LLC, who selected over 350,000 of JinkoSolar's high-efficiency 1500-volt mono PERC modules to power Techren Solar 1.
