Indian state-run utility NTPC has issued a tender for 15MW of floating solar at its hydroelectric power station Koldam in the mountainous, northern state of Himachal Preadesh.
The scope of the tender includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading storage, installation, testing and commissioning of the project based on open category PV modules and cells. This includes O&M services for a period of three years
The deadline for submission of techno-commercial bids for the project at NTPC Koldam HEPP is 25 February.
Earlier this week, NTPC also issued a tender for 20MW of floating solar PV at its gas power station in Anta in the state of Rajasthan.
The PV IndiaTech 2020 conference will continue to bring together all key domestic and overseas stakeholders, including government bodies, investors, and the leading companies today from manufacturing to O&M and asset management. To thrive globally as a major PV power beyond 2020, India has to succeed in unlocking its potential both to manufacture and to lay claim to quality utility-scale solar farms that are providing high returns on investment to site owners.
