Specialist PV manufacturing equipment supplier Singulus Technologies has signed an agreement with a key CIGS thin-film module customer, Avancis, which is part of China National Building Materials (CNBM) to develop the next generation of manufacturing equipment.
Singulus said that it would work with Avancis on the development and optimization of its CISARIS selenization equipment, which the companies have collaborated on since 2008.
Dr. Ing. Stefan Rinck, chairman of the Management Board of Singulus Technologies AG: "Our CISARIS selenization plants are at an important stage in the entire production process." CNBM's CIGS thin-film technology wants to meet greater demands in the future through the use of new equipment."
Going into its fifth year over 200 delegates from 150 companies and 20 countries representing the PV supply chain will gather in Malaysia to discuss the technology roadmaps for PV cell advancement in GW markets. The scope of the event has been expanded this year, to cover developments in wafer supply and thin-film investments and technologies alongside all the regular benefits to all stakeholders tracking PV technology and investment trends for the next 5 years.
