NTPC issues 500MW solar EPC tender for Maharashtra

Indian distribution company NTPC has issued a tender for EPC services for up to 500MW of solar PV capacity in the western state of Maharashtra.

This comes under open category for cells and modules. The scope of the contract includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage, installation and commissioning of the grid-connected capacities between 100MW and 500MW (going up in multiples of 5MW) on a turnkey basis.

O&M services are also required for a period of three years. The deadline for bid submissions is 2 January 2020.

This week, NTPC also tendered for 923MW of solar anywhere in India under the CPSU programme that mandates the use of locally sourced cells and modules.
