Yingli Green is to supply 108,000 of its YGE 72 cell series modules to a 32MW PV power plant project to be built next year in Okayama, Japan.
Shipments of the special utility-scale ground mount modules are expected to start in January, 2015 and continue through the rest of the year.

The Okayama project is being financed by GE Energy Financial Services and developed by Pacifico Energy K.K., a PV project developer based in Tokyo and is the first module supply deal Yingli Green has secured from the developer.
The project is expected to generate 37,000,000 KwH of solar power annually.
