Acting as financier, and engineering, procurement and construction services provider, Scheuten Solar has signed up to work with Solesa Green Power for the development and maintenance of several PV power plants in Italy, totaling at least 5MWp per annum.

The agreement, the duration of which was not disclosed, will see the companies collaborate on the plants’ construction and maintenance, starting with a 2MWp plant currently under development in the Lazio region.

“The Italian solar market has a good potential. Our ambition is to become a leading provider of PV solutions in the Italian solar market”, said Evert Vlaswinkel, Scheuten Solar Chief Commercial Officer. “We are very enthusiastic about further cooperation with Solesa”.
