AU Optronics (AUO) is using this week’s Solar Power International event in Dallas, Texas to showcase its latest ranges of PV modules and products. On display will be the Taiwan-based firm’s flagship AC Unison residential module and also its soon-to-be-released EcoDuo PM290P00.

Top of the bill is the AC Unison module and its accompanying monitoring system. Due to its pre-assembled micro-inverter, the module is one of the most cost-effective and easy-to-install products available to North American residential customers. In addition to the eponymous modules, the AC Unison package uses the GreenTriplex PM250M00 module, which has a peak power output of 270W and 16.5% efficiency.

“Since the inception of the solar business in 2008, AUO has been working proactively to expand the solar value chain, challenging ourselves and our peers continuously for ever-higher efficiency and a more extensive range of products,” said AUO Solar Business Group’s vice president, James Chen. “Addressing the needs of our clients is always paramount.

“We are pleased to announce that one-stop shopping has been made possible with the AC Unison system, AUO’s first complete solar solution.  Solar installers in the US can now buy the AC Unison System from their Distributors and enjoy its integrated simplicity, cost effectiveness, quality and performance, all in one package. “

Solar Power International runs from October 17-20 at the Dallas Convention Center and AUO can be found at booth 4500 in Hall D.
