Steve Daniel steps into Akeena Solar’s Executive post

Departing
the role of Vice President of sales, Steve Daniel’s (pictured) new role
as Executive Vice President of sales and marketing for Akeena Solar
will see him drive the company’s expansion in the U.S. with the
promotion of the company’s Andalay solar panel system.

Mr. Daniel joined Akeena Solar at the beginning of 2007 as sales VP, bringing more than 25 years of experience in sales and management to the company. He also worked with BEA Systems, managing their global system integrator relationships and received several of the company’s top performer awards.

A member of the Sierra Club and the National Defense Council, Mr. Daniel has a B.Sc. in industrial engineering and operations research from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and has also studied at the Harvard University Extension and the Kellogg School of Management.

Akeena Solar, Inc. is a distributor and installer of solar power systems.
