US-based residential solar firm Sunnova Energy has secured US$300 million from private equity firm Energy Capital Partners (ECP) to continue its growth in the residential solar sector.

Sunnova chief executive William Berger said: “Our focus on profitable, scalable growth and a well-capitalized company have established Sunnova as a clear leader in the rapidly growing solar power economy.
