IPP Globeleq has signed a memorandum of understanding to develop a green hydrogen hub in Egypt with up to 9GW of solar PV and wind power.

The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) has issued a request for prequalification (RfP) for 600MW of solar PV to be developed West of the Nile.

Various projects located in the 1.8GW Benban solar park will be co-financed by AIIB and the International Financial Corporation.
