Toby Corey joins SolarCity as chief revenue officer

SolarCity has appointed Toby Corey, co-founder and former president and COO of USWeb, as its new chief revenue officer. In his role at SolarCity, Corey will aim to change the ways in which consumers, businesses and government organizations convert to cleaner energy, at a lower cost, through the means of various integrated solutions.

Before co-founding USWeb, Corey was VP at Novell, a NetWare systems business. More recently, he co-founded and served as CEO of Intend Change, which launched Terravado, a company which additionally saw Corey lead as chairman and CEO. Corey is on the board of directors of WildlifeDirect.org and NorCal Telehealth.  He is also an adjunct professor at Stanford University teaching a course on entrepreneurship.
