Winaico ramps capacity of Taiwan facility to 150MW

Taiwanese PV manufacturer Winaico has announced the expansion of one of its solar manufacturing facilities in Taiwan.

Capacity at the facility will be increased by 30% to 150MW, the company said.

Winaico’s decision to expand the production capacity is due to an increasing demand on company’s products in combination with countervailing duties against solar imports from China.

Winaico is a subsidiary of the PV producer Win Win Precision Technology headquartered in Taiwan.
