Overall Renewables & Storage generation increased 16% year-on-year in Q2 2026 to 6,867GWh, compared with 5,945GWh in Q2 2025, driven primarily by contributions from growth investments.

Clearway reported Q2 2026 net income of US$30 million, Adjusted EBITDA of US$409 million, cash from operating activities of US$214 million and cash available for distribution (CAFD) of US$167 million. The Renewables & Storage segment contributed US$372 million in Adjusted EBITDA, up from US$300 million in Q2 2025.

“Since last quarter, we have completed two additional accretive revenue contracts in our Texas operating fleet, received a dropdown offer for Honeycomb Phase II, and our sponsor has secured over 2GW of new contracts recently signed for the 2027-2030 COD vintages, further crystallizing our long-term financial objectives,” said Craig Cornelius, Clearway’s president and CEO.

“We remain in a very solid position to continue to strive for the top end or better of our CAFD per share target for 2030 of US$2.90 to US$3.10, we have line of sight now to the potential for 5-8%+ growth beyond 2030 from our 2030 target baseline and continue to have the ability to generate further potential upside across all of our growth pathways, including through our co-located digital infrastructure business as it takes shape.”

The company said its sponsor-enabled growth programme continued to advance, with its late-stage pipeline reaching 13.5GW and more than 2GW of new contracts signed for projects targeting commercial operation dates between 2027 and 2030.

Clearway Group also pointed to its Honeycomb Phase II, a 210MW storage portfolio in Utah expected to reach commercial operation in 2027. In addition, Clearway Group announced a long-term power purchase agreement for the 975MW Chimney Canyon solar-plus-storage project in Arizona, which is expected to reach commercial operation in 2029.

Clearway said its fleet enhancement programme remained on schedule, with all repowerings planned for 2026 and 2027 progressing as expected, while Texas fleet contract enhancements have now been completed.

The company revised its 2026 full-year CAFD guidance to US$430 million-US$470 million, reflecting updated renewable energy production estimates and the completion of committed growth investments.

San Francisco-based Clearway Energy owns approximately 13.9GW of clean energy assets across 27 US states, including 11.1GW of wind, solar and energy storage capacity.

Recently, the company signed a 641MW module supply agreement with T1 Energy, with modules to be produced using domestic solar cells from T1’s G2_Austin facility, which is expected to begin tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) production in Q1 2027. Additionally, Clearway secured more than US$1 billion in corporate credit facilities, including revolving, letter of credit and term loan arrangements in June 2026.
