AIKO Energy has announced the signing of a partnership agreement with leading Dutch wholesale distributor VDH Solar for the marketing and distribution of 520MW of its ABC (All Back Contact) modules, marking a significant expansion for the company in the European high-end market.
The Benelux region is one of AIKO’s largest markets in Europe, with analysts reporting that the region’s total installed PV capacity has witnessed a significant increase in recent years, mainly in the form of distributed PV. Thanks to its cost-effective logistics, the Netherlands acts as a transit hub for AIKO’s products, distributing them to surrounding countries.
“Having seen the superior quality of AIKO’s products, we believe that our cooperation will take the development of both parties to a new level,” commented VDH Solar CEO Jurgen Hoogeveen. “We are delighted to be joining forces to enhance access to high-efficiency solar modules for the high-end market in key European countries,” added founder Lucien van der Heide.
