BENY has announced its participation at the UK’s ‘Fully Charged LIVE’ event running from 28-30 April in Farnborough, where it will showcase its latest EV charging+EMS+PV system.
The OCPP, EV charger, which can charge an electric vehicle overnight and is compatible with all EV models, offers a range of smart features, allowing customers to configure settings and control charging. It can also operate in conjunction with the company’s home solar systems.
BENY’s sales director Tim Wu commented: “The UK government introduced new regulations around smart charging which came into effect on December 30, mandating that the majority of charge points in domestic and workplace settings include smart functionality. BENY’s new products are designed to satisfy these regulations. The OCPP EV charger comes in single-phase (7 kW) and three-phase (22 kW) variants and, with wall- and pole-mounted configurations, as well as IP65 dust- and water-resistant housing, the device can be installed indoors or outdoors.”
