DAS Solar has announced the official opening of its new Australian subsidiary in Sydney, representing the latest strategic step in the expansion of the company’s global footprint.
The announcement follows the establishment in early 2023 of a German subsidiary, which has since become the centre of the company’s European operations and an essential part of its global expansion strategy. Given Australia’s strategic importance to DAS, the company already introduced its N-type ‘black thru’ bifacial module to the market during the first quarter of 2023, its high efficiency and reliability proving popular with local users. This was followed by the launch of the N-type 3.0 series module in May, which quickly secured certification from the Australian Clean Energy Council (CEC). This module, recognized in the CEC’s approved products list, can be deployed in a wide range of scenarios, including residential and commercial rooftops, as well as large-scale utility projects.
Establishment of the new subsidiary will enable DAS Solar to develop a comprehensive distribution, warehousing and logistics system in Australia, allowing the company to respond rapidly to local market demands.
