DMEGC Solar has announced that it has received new IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 certifications from TÜV SÜD.
The company’s Infinity G12RT-B66 series included in the certifications features a ‘golden’ size of 2382mm x 1134mm, making it highly popular for utility-scale plants and also suitable for rooftop projects. DMEGC is the first company in the PV industry to adopt the new approach of applying CJ (Cemented Joint) technology to module design, a technology which uses Butyl sealant as the encapsulant material between the cells and the frame, significantly enhancing module power and reliability.
The certificate issued by TÜV SÜD states that the G12RT-B66 achieves a maximum power of 655W which, in terms of project BOS cost and LCOE, makes it a contender for the best PV module option for project developers and operators. DMEGC expects to mass-produce and ship the module at 650W in Q1 2026.
